I’m Katharine Deeb, CD(DONA). I live in Los Angeles, (Culver City) and I’m a practicing labor/birth doula. I am the mother of two boys, 17 and 21, and I delivered both naturally, thanks to the help of amazing caregivers. I chose to become a birth doula based on my love of babies and women and the miracle of the birthing process. I am a proud member of DASC (Doulas of Southern California) and am certified by DONA (Doulas of North America).

I believe that women are their own best experts and have instinctual knowledge of their babies and their bodies. Birth is the most intimate, personal experience a woman can go through, and no two births are exactly alike. Regardless of my own personal birth choices and experiences, I am very open minded when it comes to yours. I will never push an agenda with you. I will support you and your choice of birth at the hospital, birthing center, or at home. My hope for you and your family is a positive, empowering birth experience with a healthy outcome. That’s what I strive to help you to accomplish, whether at the hospital, in your home, or in some cases, the operating room. I would be truly honored to be a part of your sacred experience.
