About Me

010 (2)

I’m Katharine Deeb, CD(DONA). I live in Los Angeles, (Culver City) and I’m a practicing labor/birth doula. I am the mother of two boys, 16 and 20, and I delivered both naturally, thanks to the help of amazing caregivers. I chose to become a birth doula based on my love of babies and women and the miracle of the birthing process. I am a member of DASC (Doulas of Southern California) and am certified by DONA (Doulas of North America).

I believe that women are their own best experts and have instinctual knowledge of their babies and their bodies. Birth is the most intimate, personal experience a woman can go through. I hope that through information and support, I can help it be a positive and empowering experience as well. Although I have birth preferences in my own life, I will never push an agenda with you. I will support you and your choice of birth at the hospital, birthing center, or at home. I would be honored to be a part of your sacred experience.
